Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering was founded in 2009 and is affiliated to Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. The recent splurge in the Indian aviation industry has created a demand for trained and highly skilled professional and technical workforce in the areas of maintenance, overhaul and repair in order to sustain the flying machine in its expected and preplanned operative situation. In keeping with the rigorous norms and conditions of the global aviation industry, a sanctioned and tested aircraft maintenance engineering course provides the aspiring industry professionals with a pathway towards a gratifying career in the aviation industry. It also provides a chance to learn the mechanics of an aircraft like its operation, modification, overhaul, repair, etc. The proffered course is training-oriented.
