Overview
Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET), promoted by Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER) was established with a goal to provide regional, national and international maritime industries with educational and service resources. The increase in international trade has caused a meteoric rise in the shipping industry, leading to a high demand for qualified marine officers and professionals. Keeping this in mind, MANET was launched to meet the requirements for trained maritime personnel. International-level infrastructure along with innovative ideas, a conducive environment and dedicated faculty transform students into confident, competent and qualified professionals. Holding ISO 9001:2008 certification and approval from Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, MANET offers a three-year B.Sc. Nautical Science degree course and a four-year B.Tech Marine Engineering degree course.

Course Eligibility
Candidate should have passed The selection process would consist of Psychometric- Career Mapping Test and followed by Personal Interview. Selection would be based on following parameters. Scores obtained by candidate at CET/CAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/JMET exams. Personal Interview Psychometric - Career Mapping Test will be used for Career Counseling for the student.
