Overview

Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies was founded in 2005. The institute is recognized by DG Shipping, ICRA, IMU. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programs in fields like Applied Sciences, Engineering, Marine, etc. The institute is completely dedicated to providing an excellent maritime training and education experience to the aspiring mariners, completely at par with the high quality international mandatory standards and guidelines. The institute recognizes that the quality of the ship depends upon the quality of its crew. Therefore, the principal objective of the establishment of the institute is to develop and produce a team of talented and full of potential seafarers with an excellent caliber, trained at every level to operate and survive in an increasingly demanding and dynamic shipping industry.
