Overview

Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, was established in the year 2008 by the Government of India. Located in the state of Meghalaya, the campus has a serene environment and is surrounded by pine trees, lush green lawns. The institution was initiated with a primary vision of extending and mobilisation of the facilities for producing high-quality management knowledge and research in the North Eastern region of India. IIMS offers Post Graduate Programme in Management, PGPEx, Fellow programme in Management, etc. The meticulously framed programmes and the case based pedagogy seek to develop the students for all the aspects of Management before they enter the corporate world. The curriculum is a rich combination of elective and compulsory courses and is designed to provide a holistic approach towards the advanced business issues.
