• About University of Delhi

The University of Delhi is the premier university of the country and is known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty. It was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the then Central Legislative Assembly. The President of India is the Visitor, the Vice President is the Chancellor and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India is the Pro-Chancellor of the University. Ever since its inception, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research has made the University of Delhi a role-model and path-setter for other universities in the country. Its rich academic tradition has always attracted the most talented students who later on went on to make important contributions to their society. When the University took birth, only three colleges existed in Delhi then: St. Stephen's College founded in 1881, Hindu College founded in 1899 and Ramjas College founded in 1917, which were subsequently affiliated to it. The University thus had a modest beginning with just three colleges, two faculties (Arts and Science) and about 750 students. In October 1933, the University offices and the Library shifted to the Viceregal Lodge Estate, and till today this site houses the offices of the main functionaries of the University.

Kirori Mal College has an excellent teaching faculty. Most of the teachers have got atleast 20-30 years of experience while there are a few with new recruitments who need polishing. Faculty to student ratio is pretty less. The crowd in the college is absolutely fantastic. It is one of the best colleges of the campus and the atmosphere of the college truly defines its brand name.

It's infrastructure and atmosphere is very good actually eye catching... Greenery, Cleanliness, Design of building and classes and all.

Well our faculty id also very good teaching and non teaching staffs all do their work properly but our canteen is not upto the mark and their is facility of sports but it's poorly organized.

They organize almost every events and fest very well I'll say it's above excellence nothing else. The crowd is just phenomenal.

Our college is situated quite far from any good convince place you have to travel like more than a km after reaching metro station.

They organize almost every events and fest some goes good some not so I'll say it's just above average nothing else as we don't have union here so it always depends on organizers which changes with time.

Our college is situated quite far from any good convince place you have to travel like more than a km for bus and more than 2 for metro i think its normal

The college campus isn’t huge unlike other Delhi colleges but is decently neat and clean. Classrooms aren’t air conditioned but have good wooden unbroken benches. Library is equipped with an air conditioner and books are available in abundance with latest editions. There is wifi connectivity is the campus but the speed is too less and students aren’t pleased with it.
